Destroying the Online Euchre Tables
I got myself hooked again on Euchre this week. I played a ton of euchre back when I was in high school, and I’ve visited some of the free money euchre sites, but I just played real money Euchre online for the first time few weeks ago.
The majority of the players that sat down with me were pretty bad. One of the features of the software at Aced.com is that you don’t get to choose your partner, which helps to prevent cheating. However, this also means that you can get stuck playing with some pretty bad Euchre players.
This is Euchre with American Rules and you can’t stick the dealer. I was a little bit bummed about this because a good euchre player can gain an easy advantage if they can stick the dealer.
I guess the title of this entry is a little bit deceiving because I wasn’t exactly playing for a lot of money. There are $1 and $10 Euchre tables, but I’m not sure if the $10 games run very often, if at all right now. The $1 tables are pretty slow sometimes too, but the other night I was able to sit down and get a nice session in with about 15 games. I think I won about 11 of those. It’s a little bit hard to tell because I lost some money playing Caribbean Stud (Which I don’t know how to play), but I definitely won the majority of the games despite my partners’ constant attempts to sink me.
These Euchre tables are fairly new at Aced.com. Most of the poker players don’t know how to play Euchre which is why the games are so easy. I expect these Euchre tables to start getting much busier because I know a few people who are about to start sending some Euchre players over to the site. Also, they brought Jamie Gold on as part of the team at Aced.com so the traffic is really going to be picking up.
So come and help me fill these tables. If you lose… who cares, I’ll even give you back your dollar if you really want it. I just want people to come and sit down at these tables. Aced.com is probably the easiest poker site to make a deposit at. I already mentioned in a blog a few days ago I just used my Visa card and they hooked me up instantly.
