Caesars Building Partnerships with Global Gaming Brands

Duplicate Poker is Closed
I think the title says it all. Duplicate Poker has closed it’s website down. That’s too bad for them, because I know that they have been spending a lot of money on TV advertising lately.
I sort of predicated that this would happen a few months ago on this blog; Internet Poker | The Good, The Bad and The Ugly. That poker room was designed for people to collude against each other, so I think their fate was sealed the day that they came up with the concept for their site.
They cited the growing financial crisis as the reason for their shut down. I don’t think any of the players are going to be too upset about this. I don’t think many people had more than a few dollars in their Duplicate Poker account, and most of those people were playing with free promo money that they got for opening their account.
