High Stakes Online Poker at Full Tilt
When I talk to people who don’t play a lot of online poker, I sometimes get the impression that they don’t understand the sheer volume of money that is exchanged in some of the online poker games. So a few nights ago I decided to open up one of the high stakes tables and grab a screen shot to show everyone.
The high stakes games at Full Tilt usually have at least 2 or 3 people sitting down to play at any given time. On nights like as last night, the waiting list for the table was almost 15 people deep.
I used to watch these games a lot when I was learning how to play poker. Although I have seen some big wins, there have only been a few people whom I have seen with more than $800,000 on the table. For those of you doubters out there, I can assure you that this is all real money. If you don’t believe me, you are welcome to sit down and try your luck. Just be sure to have your mortgage ready, because the minimum buy in at this table is about the price of a new sports car. You are also going to be playing against the internet’s most successful poker players, so I wish you all luck.
