A Steaming Bat Out of Hell
This is not the first time that I have confessed to the blogs readers that I sometimes tilt really bad at the poker table. Once I start tilting, things will usually go downhill until my bankroll is empty. Lucky for me my credit card is not accepted at most of the online casinos so it’s difficult to really go on a gambling tear.
Over the last 2 weeks I have taken losses in the $400-$600 range at the casino 3 times and every time I have gone over to the Omaha tables and recouped my losses within about 5-7 hands.
I’m not a complete degenerate gambler. I’m not the type who will get back to even for the night and then lose it all back again. If I am at the table just to come in steaming and try to recover my losses in a few quick hands, I’m not going to be looking to stick around the table and be patient when I get my money back. As soon as I can smell the break even point I pick up my stack and get the f#$k out of there because Im just happy to get my money back. I’m not the sort of person who can just throw away $500 without thinking twice. I wouldn’t be on the streets, but that’s certainly more than I would like to be losing at the casino at any point.
So what should you take away from this blog entry? It would be wise to get me steaming at the poker table I suppose. If you manage to do so, you better either have a very strong hand, or have a hand that you are not going to fold. If you posess the latter of the two, you better also be ready to lose because I am going to try my hardest to suckout on you and you’ll never know if I have gotten there or not. If you are sharp you’ll know that no matter what, my chips are going into the pot.
