The Ultimate Poker Freeroll
I suppose everyone will have their own opinion about what the ultimate freeroll would look like. Im not even sure it would have anything to do with poker for most of us. I’m looking to freeroll through life, I don’t care if I go in with the best of it or not, I just want to have the chips when it’s all over, even if I play poorly and have to suckout.
Back when I got burned by neteller I was playing in tons of freerolls. I used to just have my homepage set to the freeroll monitor website and every time that I would log into my computer I would check to see when the next freerolls were getting started.
I must admit, Full Tilt still runs some of the juiciest freerolls. Just as they have done in the past years, they are giving away 100 WSOP Main Event seats through their freerolls. That means that without ever depositing, you can win a $10K seat in the Main Event. Even if you have heard this deal before, you gotta admitt that this is pretty juicy. It’s a little bit time consuming as you might expect, but for a recreational player just messing around at the play money tables, this is a necessity in the tournament schedule.
Lets face it, there is a ton of people out there who don’t deposit or play for real money, many of them don’t even know anyone that does. They just download the software like any other free computer game and start clicking away… oblivious to the fact that on the same server just a few tables away, Tom Dwan is shoving in $500K in real money with a gutshot.
If you are looking for the next upcoming freerolls, you can check on most of the major poker portals like cardplayer and pokerlistings. As I said, back in the day I used to have my homepage set so that the first thing I ever saw in my browser was the freeroll schedule (A bit pathetic I know). For a full schedule you can just click on this link and save it to your bookmarks; Poker Freeroll Tournaments.
As long as I’m blogging about freerolls, I might as well start to hype the next Big Edge Poker freeroll. Right now I’ve got it scheduled for the first month of 2010 when I plan to have some extra money, so be sure to subscribe to the blog for updates.
