Pokerstars Makes a $150,000 Mistake
There has been another mistake at Pokerstars, this time in favor of the players and this is one that they can’t reneg on.
Pokerstars is going for a world record. They want to have the most entrants ever in a poker tournament, only someone has made a huge mistake in calculating their prize pool. They have a tournament set up with the entries capped at 35,000 players and it is going to be a $10 buy-in on December 28th with $500,000 guaranteed.
If you do the math, you’ll see that
Pokerstars is going to be adding a minimum of $150,000 dollars to this prize pool. Even if the Max. number of entrants show up, they will be adding the $150K, so this is a really juicy mistake for the players; especially since it’s only a $10 tournament.
The top ten payouts are gonna look like this;
- $30,000
- $20,000
- $15,000
- $10,000
- $7,500
- $5,000
- $3,500
- $2,500
- $2,000
- $1,500
I’ve been playing else where lately, and almost strictly in the cash games, but I just got money transferred over to
Pokerstars to play in this tournament. I hope that you’ll all sign up and take advantage of this, because this is going to be a monumental tournament.
